Atelier Roux is shaped by Manon's European and American heritage. Raised in a family with deep roots in haute couture – her parents worked at its heart, with ties to Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, and Thierry Mugler – she developed an early and lasting appreciation for craft, artistry, and the discipline of making.
Manon's fine arts education took her from Cranbrook and Purchase College to the Rhode Island School of Design and the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris. These formative experiences, spanning two continents and two cultures, sharpened something already instinctive: that a space has to work before it can be beautiful.
Manon founded Atelier Roux to practice on those terms. Featured in Architectural Digest and working on residential projects across the United States and Europe, the studio brings an instinct for proportion and form and deep relationships with artisans on both sides of the Atlantic.
