Atelier Roux is shaped by Manon's European and American heritage. Raised in a family with deep roots in haute couture – her parents worked at its heart, with ties to Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, and Thierry Mugler – she developed an early and lasting appreciation for craft, artistry, and the discipline of making.

Manon's fine arts education took her from Cranbrook and Purchase College to the Rhode Island School of Design and the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris. These formative experiences, spanning two continents and two cultures, sharpened something already instinctive: that a space has to work before it can be beautiful.

Manon founded Atelier Roux to practice on those terms. Featured in Architectural Digest and working on residential projects across the United States and Europe, the studio brings an instinct for proportion and form and deep relationships with artisans on both sides of the Atlantic.

MEET THE FOUNDER

Atelier Roux has worked across a wide range of residential projects across Greenwich, the Hamptons, Miami and more – from light-filled apartments to sprawling villas, historic townhouses to new builds conceived from nothing. Different scales, different starting points, different clients. The standard doesn't change.

in PRACTICE

Our philosophy,

We believe spaces made with craft and discipline carry something that shortcuts cannot replicate – a coherence,
a presence, a quality felt before it's named. Every project begins with how
a space needs to work.
The aesthetic follows from that.

Every project begins with how your space needs to work and what your life within it looks like. We believe spaces made with craft and discipline carry something that shortcuts cannot replicate – a coherence, a presence, a quality that endures.

Tell us about your project and what you're looking to create. We'll be in touch to discuss next steps.

LET'S TALK ABOUT your SPACE.
