The Open-Concept Living and Dining Room

The open-concept living and dining area presented a unique design challenge due to the room’s angled layout. Our goal was to create distinct spaces that felt cohesive without overcrowding one another.

We anchored the space with warm wood floors, creating a cozy yet streamlined foundation. A minimalist coffee table complements the area, while subtle accessories—like ceramic vases and a soft rug—bring warmth and personality. Every element enhances the room’s character without overwhelming it.

In the dining area, we sourced a pill-shaped table, perfect for entertaining, and paired it with a custom bar cabinet to display our client’s curated collection of spirits. Above the table, an artistic light fixture floats like a sculptural piece, adding dynamic elegance.

With four expansive windows and angular walls, we softened the space using floor-to-ceiling stationary curtains, providing privacy while preserving city views. A mohair-upholstered bed in blues, greys, and beiges adds texture and contrast to the white walls. The room’s artistic focal point is a collection of abstract canvases by Carrie Crawford, bringing subtle vibrancy to the space.
